What the players say
Excellent retro platformer!
LOVE the double jump, and 5 different challenges per level just screams replayability. Virtual controls are super responsive, but Im definitely looking forward to MFi support 🙂 Awesome job!
Its a perfect game with its own beautiful atmosphere and unique music. Ive waited for this game for a very long time. And now Im happy to play it, because I fell in love with the first Bloo Kid!
This game is a side-scroller masterpiece. The music and graphics are perfect throwbacks to the heyday of side-scrolling platformers. The attention to detail is fantastic (water ripples when entering/exiting water, fire invincibility is extinguished when touching water, etc) and the virtual controls are flawless. The music is catchy and nuanced, and the enemy variety is really high. There are several goals to complete for each stage, so replayability is almost guaranteed.
The platforming never gets as hard as something like League of Evil or Mutant Mudds, but the worlds are such a joy to explore that it all just feels perfect.
Two things I’d REALLY love to see added: iPhone 6+ support and Bloo Kid 3. Thanks for a wonderful game.
This is for sure the best iPhone game I have ever played. With all of these city management and infinite runners having all the attention, It’s hard to find a decent, enjoyable game that’s different from the others. Sure it’s kind of a Mario/Sonic spin-off, but it’s really well made and has beautiful old-school graphics, so I don’t think it really matters, it’s still lots of fun. I have enjoyed every second of this game. It’s addicting and it gets really hard, which adds a good challenge. I’m looking forward for more games like this. I loved it!
